Greek Islands & Provence (France)
One of the best things I ever did was to fly to England, buy a big motorbike, and ride it down to the South of France. There I stayed for 3 months, painting and riding my bike. Bliss!
The following year, I spent 4 months travelling by boat to paint around the Greek Aegean Islands of Aegina, Hydra, Andros, Mykonos, Santorini, Crete, Rhodes, Kastellorizo, Kos and Patmos, and the Ionian Islands of Ithaca and Corfu. The paintings were successfully exhibited back in Australia, in Perth and Sydney.
